Inner Prosperity -
Ensure That the Lord is With You

Did you know you can have an inner prosperity regardless of your situation or material possessions? The first step is to ensure that the Lord is with you. Why? Because when the Lord is with you, the anointing to prosper will also be with you. They go hand in hand. Let's see what we can glean from Joseph's example.

If you've read the story of Joseph, you know that he was sold into slavery and was a servant in the house of his Egyptian master. The master put Joseph in charge of all of his affairs because he "saw that the Lord was with him and made all he did to prosper in his hand"

Remember, Joseph was a servant. He could not possibly have had many material possessions. So his master couldn't simply look at Joseph's possessions to know that he prospered. So how did Joseph's master know that Joseph was caused to prosper? What did he see that made him know that the Lord was with Joseph?

What he saw was that Joseph was in control of everything he touched and every situation he faced. When Joseph's brothers sold him into slavery, he increased in knowledge and was eventually put into prison. Soon Joseph was even running things at the prison. Regardless of Joseph's situation, he always ended up in charge, because God was with him.

It's interesting to note that even as a servant, the Bible says that Joseph was a successful man. So inner prosperity is not necessarily based upon your material possessions or your job description. It's more about your ability to be in control in any circumstance or situation you may face in life. But the first step to inner prosperity is to ensure that God is with you, because then the anointing to prosper will be with you as well.

The key is to enter into the secret place of prayer with God. Study the Word of God concerning what it says about your circumstance and meditate on it regularly. Approach God and seek His Wisdom. Get into His Presence and listen until you know what you are to do and then do it.

Once you walk in this truth for a while, people will look at you and be amazed that no matter what happens in your life, you still come out above and not beneath, the head and not the tail, blessed coming in and going out!

People will notice that there is something about you they don't quite understand. All they know is you keep winning regardless of your situation. You have an inner prosperity. Just like Joseph. His master knew there was some type of divine protection or influence on everything Joseph did. Joseph had an inner prosperity because God was with him. The same can be true for you.
